The Moffatts, the '90s boy band behind “If Life Is So Short,” will be coming to Manila in 2017!
The Canadian pop-rock band is slated to perform its hits one last time during the February 18, 2017 concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Moffatt brothers Scott, Clint and Bob will be returning to Manila for the first time in 16 years for the Farewell Tour concert produced by Midas Promotions.
The members (without David) will also be debuting material from their new projects: Endless Summer, and Scott Moffatt, respectively.
The classic hits of The Moffatts--“Miss You Like Crazy” and “If Life Is So Short”--are said to rival the Eagles' "Hotel California" for being the biggest international songs of all time in the Philippines.
To this day, The Moffatts remain the biggest selling international band in the Philippines.
The boys had the largest audience ever at the Hard Rock Cafe in Manila in 2000. The glass panel at the entrance reportedly collapsed because too many people were trying to get in.
At the height of their popularity, they drew a crowd of almost 40,000 people for their SM Megamall show in 1998.
The band have had 14 hits songs in the Philippines including “Miss You Like Crazy,” “I’ll Be There For You,” “Misery,” “Girl of My Dreams,” and “Bang Bang Boom,” among others.
Tickets to The Moffatts Farewell Tour are priced as follows: P5,300 (VVIP); P3,180 (VIP); P1,590 (Patron); P1,060 (Lower Box); P850 (Upper Box); and P530 (General Admission).
Tickets go on sale 10 AM on October 31, 2016 via all Ticketnet outlets and www.ticketnet.com.ph. Interested parites may also call the Ticketnet hotline at Tel. No. 911-5555.
