The Temper Trap will be making a comeback to the Philippine concert scene. The Australian rock band will perform at the 2017 Wanderland Music and Arts Festival to be held on March 4 at the Filinvest Event Grounds in Muntinlupa City.



Wanderers! Get your jungle gear ready because there are only a few weeks left before Wanderland Music and Arts Festival 2017!

Presented by Karpos Multimedia, the fifth edition of the music and arts festival is scheduled to explore new grounds this March 4.

Top bands and musical acts from local and foreign shores will get you pumped up during the 12-hour long music festival.

We have listed down reasons why you shouldn't miss the 2017 Wanderland Music and Arts Festival:

1. Get to see 16 acts in one music fest

Some of the foreign acts performing in this edition are American post-rock band Explosions in the Sky, Malaysian singer/songwriter Yuna, Canadian EDM duo Purity Ring, British electronic duo HONNE, American alternative rock band LANY, and Melbourne-based acoustic/folk band Woodlock.

The Philippine music scene is represented by Up Dharma Down, Gabby Alipe and John Dinopol of Urbandub, Tom's Story, Fools and Foes, Reese Lansangan, Lola Amour, Banna Harbera, and Mickey Sulit.



2. The Temper Trap will return to the Philippines

Wanderland pioneers The Temper Trap will be making a comeback to the Manila concert scene. Get ready to watch them perform their hits including "Sweet Disposition," "Fader," "Love Lost," "Need Your Love," "Trembling Hands," "Fall Together," and "Alive."



3. The Ting Tings will co-headline Wanderland 2017

If The Temper Trap isn't enough, The Ting Tings is also coming to Manila for Wanderland 2017. This English indie pop duo is known for the songs "That's Not My Name," "Shut Up And Let me Go," "Hands," "Hang It Up," "Wrong Club," and "Do It Again."

4. You'd get to watch your favorite band for less than P500

Yes, we did the Math! A Wanderland 2017 ticket costs P5,915 on www.smtickets.com. Divide that by 16 performers, it would cost you only P369.69 per act.

It'll cost you a lot less if you get the Wanderbuddies bundle with three of your friends. It is priced at P19,350 (P4837.50/pax), which would turn out to be P302.34 per act.

5. Get a chance to win meet and greet sessions with the bands

Like previous editions of the music and arts festival, you'd also get the chance to meet and greet your favorite bands at Wanderland 2017.

Wanderland will announce the mechanics soon so make sure to follow their social media accounts.

6. Wanderland explores a new location

Wanderland 2017 will explore new grounds for its fifth edition: Filinvest Event Grounds in Muntinlupa City. The place is huge!

If you live way far up north or even from other islands of the country, you can book discounted hotel rooms when you show you Wanderland ticket!

Wanderland is known to be a thematic music/arts festival. This time, the music fest will be having a jungle theme for its fifth edition.

Previous themes of the music and arts festival are Circus Carnival (2014), Summer Day Camp (2015), and Space (2016).

8. Arts for artistically inclined fans

Wanderland will also have live art shows, stations, and installations featuring the country's fast-rising visual artists including Jappy Agoncillo, KFK Collective, Quatro Hapimeel, and Ysabella Lalu.



9. Take part in activities and visit game stations at the venue

Wanderland will offer booths and activities for music fest attendees. Previous editions had velcro walls, giant inflatable slides, jousting, archery, and many others.



10. Go on a food trip


While enjoying the music at the festival, have a picnic with your Wander buddies!

The event will have a plethora of good dishes offered in various food stalls at the venue.
