Lea Salonga’s "I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing" reissued by Sony BMG


Lea Salonga's 1997 album titled I'd Like ToTeach the World To Sing is repackaged by Sony BMG. It has a new album coverbut it still contains the 19 songs that have marked important milestones in hercareer.



Long before she made the country proud with her Tony awardwinning performance in Miss Saigon, stints in Les Miserables andas singing voices of Princess Jasmine and Fa Mulan in Disney animated movies Aladdinand Mulan, Lea Salonga already made a name in the local stage and theentertainment industry. She was only nine years old when she took on the roleof Little Orphan "Annie" in Repertory Philippines' production of the well-lovedmusicale. She even hosted her own kiddie TV show called Love, Lea.
