Regine Velasquez reveals the ABS-CBN and GMA-7 singers who will join her 30th anniversary concert this October.

“It’s more challenging now because I’m older and my voice has already changed.

"I’m actually doing voice lessons now para lang ma-prepare ko yung sarili ko.

"I’m doing some exercises for my vocal cords para lang to prepare for the two-night concert."

Ayon pa sa singer na tinaguriang Asia’s Songbird, “It’s weird, because in my head, this is still very easy to do. But physically, hindi na siya ganun, siyempre. And we all change, di ba?

"Physically, we don’t have a choice. I guess, I just have to work with what I have now and get used to it, and I have naman a lot of people naman helping me, you know, go through this process and preparing myself for the concert.”

“In celebration of my 30 years in the business, kakantahin ko yung mga songs na naging parang kakabit na ng buhay ko habang tumatanda ako.

“Kung mag-concert man ako, palaging back-to-back. Bibihira na rin talaga yung pagkakataon to do a solo concert. I’m excited that I’m still given the opportunity to perform on stage to celebrate my 30th year,” saad niya.

"But, kung may mangyayaring ganun, wala naman tayong...well, those we’re the things that you cannot naman foresee.

“We cannot control or we don’t have control over [things].

My husband, Ogie Alcasid, will be there. Sarah Geronimo, Angeline Quinto, Jona [Jonalyn Viray], Morissette [Amon], Aicelle Santos, and Julie Anne San Jose.

“Erik Santos, Jed Madela and Mark Bautista will be there also. Hindi lang natin alam kung anong araw. And Lara Maigue will have a special participation.”

Aniya, “Tatlong CD ‘to. One CD is dedicated to songs na na-record ko na before, but I wanted to give it a new version, a new face. So, that’s one CD.

"Then, one CD yung mga songs na kinakanta ko sa concert na parang medyo naging tatak ko na, but I didn’t record it.

“And then 10 songs na all original.”
