Bailey May, only Filipino artist included in global pop group Now United

Bailey May is part of Now United, the international group handled by the former manager of the Spice Girls.

Bailey May is the only Filipino artist included in the global pop group called Now United.

The group is being managed by Simon Fuller who is behind the reality TV American Idol and managed the career of the Spice Girls.

The Star Magic talent is one of the "14 exceptional artists from 14 different countries" who form the group that will be launched in March 2018.

Bailey's Bailona love team partner Ylona Garcia, GirlTrends' Jane de Leon, and AC Bonifacio were among the finalists who were trained in Los Angeles, California.

They underwent months of boot camp training and workshops before they were shortlisted.

The other members of Now United are Lamar from United Kingdom, Josh from Canada, Shivani from India, Heyoon from South Korea, Any from Brazil, Hina from Japan,Diarra from Senegal, Joalin from Finland, Sofya from Russia, and Noah from the United States.

Bailey and the other Now United members will work with Grammy Award-winner RedOne who composed songs for Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, and Shakira, among others.

RedOne is being tapped to write songs for the first album of the new global pop group.

Bailey became an Internet sensation when he posted videos of him singing hits of various artists, including those by Daniel Padilla.

In 2015, Bailey was named as third runner-up in ABS-CBN’s reality show, Pinoy Big Brother: 737.
