KZ Tandingan showcases rap, electric guitar skills for Singer 2018

KZ Tandingan managed to master a new song and showcase a new talent in the March 9 episode of Singer 2018.

The Filipino singer had three days to learn Sheryl Crow's "Real Gone" for this reality show airing in China.

KZ also had limited time to study the guitar chords for this event, which marks her first time to perform live with an electric guitar.

The song chosen for KZ came from the animated movie Cars. She gave her own touch to the production number by rapping in Tagalog towards the end.

The 8th episode turned out to be a non-elimination round since one performer was unable perform that night.

Jessie J was supposed to perform Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” from the movie Titanic.

However, she wad unable to perform due to an illness. For this reason, eliminations were postponed until the next episode.

The British pop star confirmed that she did get sick but did not disclose her actual ailment.

Jessie J wrote on her Twitter account:

"Sometimes my mind is stronger than my body. Sometimes I get sick on work days. That’s all. I’m doing a lot better. Thank you for all your concern and love and your extra af rumours

"Side note: Never having short hair again "
