Pag-amin niya, “It’s been my frustration ever since I was young.
“When I was still in ABS-CBN, I was offered by several recording companies to have an album.
“But honestly, I never had the confidence because I never had the proper training.
“I tried, pero yung teacher ko, pinagtatawanan ako sa voice lesson ko, sa Ryan Cayabyab School of Music.
“I love my confidence pero tingnan mo, after 23 years, sabi ko, I’m gonna conquer my fears and I’ll go for it, just practice and develop that.
“Yun, nakagawa naman ako ng album and I sing in my events and now, in my concert.
“I’ll have the opportunities to do that.”
MAJOR CONCERT. Magkakaroon din siya ng Ignite concert sa Sky Dome, SM North EDSA sa May 26 at sinisigurado nitong magiging pasabog daw ito.
“It’s an explosion of different types of concerts.
“You’ll see a lot of skin. This is the fiercest, sexiest that I’ve ever been.
“So, I’m super proud because I made everything to make it happen.
“I lost 18 pounds and I still have nine more to go, abot na ‘yan pagdating ng concert.
“I’ve been preparing this my whole life.
“I never thought it would happen, but since nandito na yung opportunity, gagalingan ko talaga,” pagmamalaki niya.
Sabi nga namin kay Regine, parang pumapasok na siya sa bagong kabanata ng buhay niya.
Lahad pa niya, “Yes, it’s a new chapter, a new life for me.
“I called it something as reinvention or transformation from being a businesswoman, a mommy and doing homey stuff.
“Parang now, I get to do something a little more of feeling diva, feeling star talaga.
“And that’s my term, itong concert na ‘to is really pasabog.
“It’s like my kalayaan, I’m coming out. I really enjoyed and celebrate pagkababae ko, pagka-mommy ko.”
