Lani Misalucha candidly talked about the nose job she had in the past. The veteran singer also joked about initially choosing a different career path for herself.
This happened when Lani chatted with Morissette Amon on the second night of their concert series, A Lani Morissette Musical Journey, that took place at the Solaire Resort and Casino.
Morissette told the crowd: "As young as three years old, this is all I wanted to be: a singer. Kaya pinaghirapan ko talaga. Pursigido ako. I went for it.
"Walang hiya-hiya talaga."
As for Asia's Nightingale, she said that she had a different vision for herself when she was a young girl.
Lani said, "Honestly, mahiyain ako. Hindi ko talaga naisip na magiging singer ako... Mag-boldstar."
Morissette commented, "Grabe naman ang shifting."
Lani pointed out, "At least nauwi pa rin ako sa music."
In another segment of the show, Lani talked about one thing that she had in common with Morissette.
Meron akong proof."
Lani then brought out an item that Morissette mistook for a powerbank.
The 46-year-old singer explained, "It's called a Betamax. Kung meron ka nito noon, alta de sociedad ka nun.
They then showed a video of her performing "Ang Iibigin Ay Ikaw" at the 1996 Metropop Song Festival.
Lani warned the audience that during that time, her nose looked different because she had not yet undergone cosmetic surgery.
"I just want you to manage your expectations kasi 1996 'yan, iba pa po ang itsura ko, hindi pa gawa ang ilong ko.
"Baka lang po kasi mag-expect kayo."
The crowd cheered upon hearing her revelation.
Lani added: "Wala akong tinatago sa inyo."
In another segment, the singers from two TV stations showed how they could overcome their network's fierce rivalry.
Regine Velasquez was tapped to introduce Lani and Morissette for a fictional show called The Clashan ng Tanghalan.
Morissette said about this combination of GMA-7's The Clash and ABS-CBN's Tawag ng Tanghalan in It's Showtime: "Para fair! No to network war!"
Lani then quipped, "ABS-CBN and GMA!"
