The Library's reigning Entertainer of the Year, Roderic Cuntapay (a.k.a. Ms. Ador), will have his first solo show titled Ador Me!
This one-night show to be held on June 10, 2009 will kick off the 24th anniversary celebration of The Library in Malate. Special guests are John Lapus and Tuesday Vargas, under the direction of Phillip Lazaro.
Stand-up comic and sing a long master Ms. Ador works as a freelance writer for comedians such as John "Sweet" Lapus, Tessie Tomas. He has been involved in numerous productions such as Rock Da Vote, Spooftacular Showdown and most recently Sweet 16, the John Lapus Anniversary Show.
He graduated from the University of the Philippines-Diliman where he became an active member of UP Samaskom.
From being a writer-performer in Live A.I.D.S., he worked his way up to become the headwriter and a monologue artist in the beloved variety-comedy show.
During the June 10 performance of Ador Me, audiences can look forward to Ms. Ador's monologues including the Palanca award winning "Welcome to Intelstar" by Chris Martinez, Ms. Milagros Lagusan, which is about a public school teacher who decided to work as an OFW, and his dead-on monicker of Michelle Obama. It will be a night of dancing, singing and fun that only Ador can bring.
