Actress-turned-singer Gretchen Baretto continues with her winning streak in the recording scene.

Complicated has sold 12,500 units, earning for her a Gold Record Award. La Greta graced the July 12 episode of ASAP '09 to receive this recognition.

Gretchen's second album, composed of 14 tracks, was released by Star Records last March 2009 with the carrier single "Ready to Take a Chance Again." It was produced by composer Louie Ocampo.

During the ASAP '09 episode, La Greta serenaded the crowd with her new single "Tell Me," with Kapamilya stars Jericho Rosales and Piolo Pascual.

"Mahirap mag-emote ‘pag dalawang guwapo ang kumakanta sa tabi mo!" Gretchen exclaimed after they finished the number.

After their song number, Star Records marketing head Nixon Sy and managing director Anabelle Regalado joined Gretchen onstage to present her Gold Record Award.

"Maraming salamat po sa mga bumili ng Complicated CD," she said. As Jericho handed her a bouquet of flowers, La Greta pointed out that she was allergic to flowers, prompting Echo to carry them for her.

When asked to name someone to whom she has dedicated her latest single, Gretchen smiled before answering:

"Wala pa, ‘pag nagbreak, kakantahin ko talaga with feelings yung 'Tell Me' na ‘yan. For now, I'm still so in love!"

Gretchen's debut album Unexpected, composed of 12 tracks, earned for the recording artist her first Gold Record Award and Platinum Award.
