Balladeer and former Bagets star Raymond Lauchengco is looking forward to taking care of his first-born child with wife Mia, who is due to give birth this November.

Raymond Lauchengco's concert series billed Classic Romance 2: Walking On Sunshine will have last repeat performances at Teatrino, Promenade, Greenhills Shopping Complex on April 12 and 19.

Having been a fixture at Teatrino for the last two months, Raymond by now is looking forward to more exciting things: a brand new studio album and taking care of his first baby with wife Mia!

The "new sound" of his independently produced album incorporates the big band sound, which has been one of the most endearing highlights in his concert series. Raymond's new album boasts of a collection of iconic ‘80s songs including "Head Over Heels," "Just Got Lucky," "You To Me Are Everything," and "Together in Electric Dreams" interpreted with a swinging, big band sound.

"When my wife suggested the concept to me, I loved it so much and we decided to produce the album ourselves! We tapped Alwyn Cruz as the album producer and Vic Oria as the musical arranger. We got really excited about this ‘new sound' so we included some of these songs in the concert. The delightful response we get from the audience each night has been truly encouraging," shares Raymond.
