This Saturday, April 16, the Bloomfields will launch their album titled Hit the Ground Running at SM North The Block.

"If you're looking for an album with an old soul and a youthful flair, look for the CD that reads Hit the Ground Running by The Bloomfields. The band is composed of Louie Poco (bass and vocals), Rocky Collado (drums and vocals), Lakan Hila (lead Guitar and vocals), and Dino Pascual (rhythm Guitars and vocals).

It speaks of exploring with no cares and just escaping real life for a little while. "Express Highway" which was released just this March, is already climbing the charts in major radio stations. The album also features tracks on love particularly, "Panaganip" and "Sigaw" which talk of that helpless, irrational feeling we all get when we fall in love. All tracks were written by The Bloomfields with contributions from their own staff. The band, which was criticized for only catering to sophisticates is guaranteed to capture the hearts of many with their very Pinoy offerings.

"The Bloomfields will launch their album on April 16, 2011 at SM North The Block. The launch will mark an important new phase for The Bloomfields and it will also jumpstart the band's nationwide SM mall tour slated for the 2nd quarter of the year. This is in partnership with SM Music and Video, which is the album's exclusive distributor.

"Hit the Ground Running, which was mastered in Abbey Road, promises to strike a common chord with Filipinos in both sound and meaning."

Ed's Note: When content falls under "Press Statement," this means that the material is fully and directly from the company itself. The use of open-and-close quotation marks to envelope the entire text shows as much. This also means that PEP is not the author of the statement being read. PEP is simply providing the information for readers who may be interested.
