The greatest war between the Sang’gres and Etherians took place in the finale of Encantadia.
In the May 19 finale of Encantadia, Raquim (Dingdong Dantes) was brought back as an ivtre to help in the battle.
In the climactic battle, Raquim told Hagorn (John Arcilla) that he was not the one who killed his father. Raquim revealed that it was actually Asval (Neil Ryan Sese) who killed Hagorn's father.
Still in a rage, Hagorn fought with Raquim. Ariana (Arra San Agustin) stepped in to help Raquim but she was mortally wounded by Hagorn.
Raquim was finally able to kill Hagorn. As Ariana lay dying, Raquim told Ybrahim (Ruru Madrid) that the sarkosi of Amihan was inside Ariana.
Ybrahim lamented that he was unable to recognize his beloved Amihan but Ariana said he was not at fault.
When the battle was over, Danaya (Sanya Lopez) took the chance to settle down with Aquil (Rocco Nacino).
Danaya confessed to him, "Ibig kong makasama ka habang buhay. Pumapayag ka ba?"
A shocked Aquil asked her what she meant.
Danaya explained, "Wala nang dahilan para maging Hara pa ako lalo't tapos na ang kaguluhan na ito.
"Kaya handa na akong iwan ang aking trono at ilipat ko sa iba. Pumapayag ka bang pakasal sa akin?
"I love you ka talaga."
In response, Aquil exclaimed, "Sa wakas!" He also professed his love for Danaya before leaning in to give her a kiss.
In the end, Pirena (Glaiza de Castro) also married Azulan (Marx Topacio) during a double wedding facilitated by Cassiopea (Solenn Heussaff).

Encantadia got a nationwide Kantar rating of 27%.
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN's Ang Probinsyano got 36.6%.
The rating of the Kapamilya primetime series of Coco Martin was 9.6 points higher compared to its Kapuso rival.
