A true story about a mother taking care of her three mentally sick children earned recognition in the recently concluded Seoul Drama Awards organized by the Korean Broadcasters Association.

ABS-CBN's Maalaala Mo Kaya won the Special Award in Drama during ceremonies held in Seoul, South Korea, last August 28. The episode "Rehas" bagged the honor for the local anthology show during the second edition of the Seoul Drama Awards, which is an annual global competition for television dramas.

Directed by Jeffrey Jeturian and written by Dado Lomibao, this tearjerking episode stars Gina Pareño as Aling Reming (Mrs. Deodiva). Sid Lucero, Jhong Hilario, and Lotlot de Leon play the three mentally disturbed children.
