Bianca King and Heart Evangelista breathe life into adult characters of Luna Blanca

Catch Heart Evangelista (right), Bianca King (left), and the new cast members of Luna Blanca Book 3— Mark Herras, Lani Mercado, Carmi Martin, and Christopher de Leon— weeknights, after Aso ni San Roque, on GMA Telebabad.

As Luna Blanca Book 3 opens on September 10, Monday night, the twin sisters of GMA-7’s primetime teleserye will discover their ancestry and fulfill their personal destinies.

The third installment will star Heart Evangelista as the fair-skinned Luna and Bianca King as the dark-skinned Blanca. The lead roles of the twins were portrayed by Barbie Forteza and Bea Binene in the previous book.

The third part of Luna Blanca will test the relationship of Luna and Blanca after being trapped in a love triangle with Mark Herras’s character, previously portrayed by Kristofer Martin. The audience is privy that while the sisters have fallen in love with one man, Joaquin’s heart beats for Blanca alone.

The plot will narrate how the sisters live separate lives— Blanca lives with Luis, then Raymart Santiago’s character and now award-winning actor Christopher de Leon’s role. Blanca will also continue to endure the ill-treatment she gets from Divine, Chynna Ortaleza’s role now to be played by Carmi Martin.

Meanwhile, in the third book, Luna will take care of Rowena, a role Camille Prats played and now Lani Mercado’s character. Rowena in the story will be cast under the spell of Devolas, a character Carlos Morales still portrays.

Viewers of Luna Blanca can look forward to the twists in the story. How will the separate lives of Luna and Blanca affect their relationship? When the time comes and their paths cross, will the sisters be able to reconnect with each other? Now that Joaquin is back, will Blanca find the strength to fight for their love without hurting Luna? How much is Blanca willing to sacrifice for Luna’s happiness?

Luna Blanca, directed by Dominic Zapata, airs weeknights after Aso ni San Roque, on GMA Telebabad.
