This week marks the first anniversary of TV5’s educational travel and adventure show, Pinoy Explorer. Based on a release sent by TV5's corporate communicatins department, host Aga Muhlach celebrated this milestone with his wife Charlene Gonzales and children Atasha and Andres by discovering Australia in a special two-part episode.
The family kicked off their trip to the Land Down Under with a cable car ride to the Blue Mountains, a world heritage site that consists of several national parks and a conversation reserve. The Jenolan Caves is within the area and is believed to be the oldest caves in the world. It is also where one can find some of the most beautiful limestone formations. Pinoy Explorer may have also discovered budding presenters in Atasha and Andres as the twins took over Dad’s hosting duties.
The family also visited the Blue Mountain Chocolate Company, where they were guided by a Filipina who works there. Charlene and Atasha learned the art of making chocolate while Aga and Andres sampled their share of treats during the visit.
Finally, Aga and Charlene’s taste for adventure will be tested as they try rappelling down a cliff. Will Aga be able to convince his wife to take the plunge?
Watch Aga, Charlene, Atasha and Andres on their Australian adventure on Pinoy Explorer, which airs at 6:30 p.m. before Talentadong Pinoy Kids on TV5.
