Box-office actor and public servant Bong Revilla was welcomed by GMA Network officers as he inked an exclusive two-year contract with GMA Network Inc.
Present in the contract signing were (from left) Lolit Solis (Bong’s manager), GMA President and Chief Operating Officer Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr., Bong Revilla, GMA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Atty. Felipe L. Gozon and GMA Entertainment TV’s Officer-in-Charge Lilybeth G. Rasonable.
Bong feels very excited to renew his contract with GMA and he expressed his excitement on his first primetime soap project with GMA. "Ang puso ko ay nandito sa GMA dahil ako ay isang Kapuso. Paano ko naman iiwan ang isang istasyon na hindi ako pinabayaan? Also, masaya ako na sa akin ipinagkatiwala ang proyektong pinag-isipan at pinagkagastusan ng network, ang Indio," Senator Bong was quoted as saying in a release provided by GMA-7's corporate communications department.
During the contract signing, Atty. Gozon pointed out: “Masaya kami. Kaya naman yung pinakamalaking project namin sa 2013 na Indio ay ibinigay namin sa kanya."
On the other hand, Mr. Duavit says that Bong is very loyal to the network. “Bukod sa respeto natin sa kanya bilang public servant at artista. Andoon yung pagkakaibigan, e. We’ve been very good friends and the loyalty and the effort that Bong has continued to put in with his work with us, bukod tangi yun.”
Bong Revilla topbills GMA-7’s first primetime offering for 2013, the epic series Indio.
