PRESS STATEMENT FROM ABS-CBN:
"Pinoy Soap Opera Queen Judy Ann Santos continues to keep primetime viewers on the edge of their seats as her character Anessa claims vengeance and risks her all to recover her kidnapped son in ABS-CBN's consistent top-rating and fast-paced primetime drama series Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala.
"From being a battered wife of Eros (Sam Milby), Anessa empowered herself and rose to defend herself from the people who maltreated her and to fight for her right as the mother of Emman (Miguel Vergara) who was kidnapped by Eros and Alexis (KC Concepcion).
"[How] far will Anessa’s retribution take her? How will she turn Eros and Alexis’ wedding ‘more special?
"Meanwhile, because of its compelling narrative and top caliber performance of its powerhouse cast, Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala remains unbeatable in its time slot since it premiered on June 17.
"In fact, Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala managed to beat two primetime teleseryes of GMA namely, Mundo Mo'y Akin and My Husband's Lover. On July 5 (Friday), the Kapamilya drama series hit its all-time high national TV ratings of 31.4% based on data from Kantar Media covering urban and rural homes nationwide. It rated nine points higher than its then rival show, Mundo Mo’y Akin which only scored 22%.
"Like Anessa, Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala, which is set to end soon, stayed undefeatable despite new competition. Based on the latest data from Kantar Media last Friday (August 2), Judy Ann’s drama series scores a 14-point lead versus My Husband's Lover.
Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala airs weeknights after Muling Buksan Ang Puso on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida.
