Jasmine Curtis Smith has signed a three-year contract with TV5.
When asked for her upcoming projects, Jasmine told the media gathered at PF Chang's located in Bonifacio Global City, "There are plans na gumawa ng pelikula alongside Ms. Nora Aunor.
"That is something na I hope matuloy coz she is such a renowned actress and she is such as icon.
"It would be nice to learn tips from her and skills from her if ever matuloy nga ang plano to do that film."
ON HOSTING SPINNATION. To date, Jasmine is part of TV5's late night music show called SPINNation.
Dubbed as a social media music show, this show (presented by SPINNR) airs on TV5 every Saturday at 11 pm.
Minutes before the show’s pilot episode last November 23, the program already got the second highest rank in Twitter’s trending topics. It eventually topped the charts halfway through the program.
How does Jasmine cope with the late-night schedule of this interactive show?
"I'm still trying to adjust kasi mga 11 to midnight, tulog na ako.
"Ang maganda about me, nakakatulog ako at any time of the day so during Saturdays, I make sure na matulog ako hangga't pwede pag wala akong work before SPINNation.
"Pagdating ko ng studio, okay na ako. Kaya ko nang maging bubbly, lively so I can engage viewers who are watching at home.
"I'm still adjusting kasi nga hindi ako sanay na magpuyat at ganun kataas ang energy ko na ginagamit sa ganung oras.
"Pero worth it naman kasi nagti-trend kami sa Twitter at maraming sumasali sa mga games and questions namin."
Since her show features musicians, who is her dream interviewee?
The younger sister of Anne Curtis answered, "Kung gusto nilang i-guest and Coldplay. Pwede naman nilang dalhin dito tapos interviewhin ko sila. That would be a dream interview. But of course, that's dreaming big na, di ba?"
Coldplay is a British rock band known for songs such as "Yellow," "Viva la Vida," "Speed of Sound" and "Fix You."
