Dramatic actress Princess Punzalan will be seen once again on the small screen for a special episode of ABS-CBN's drama anthology, Maalala Mo Kaya. The U.S.-based actress is joined by Raymond Bagatsing and Beth Tamayo for the November 23 episode of MMK.
Beth Tamayo told PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) that she "left Manila for New York City last October 8. Magkakasama kami sa MMK episode nina Princess Punzalan na based na in Connecticut and si Raymond Bagatsing na based naman sa Los Angeles."
Heralded as the Best Drama Anthology in the recently concluded Star Awards for Television, Maalaala Mo Kaya also bagged two other honors during the awards night: Best Single Performance by an Actor for Piolo Pascual ("Piso"/Maalaala Mo Kaya, ABS-CBN) and Best Single Performance by an Actress for Gina Pareño ("Rehas"/Maalaala Mo Kaya, ABS-CBN). The veteran actress tied with Pauleen Luna ("Sa Dulo ng Pag-Ibig: The Olivia Ortiz Story"/Magpakailanman, GMA-7).

SYNOPSIS. The November 23 episode of Maalala Mo Kaya explores the sexual awakening of a middle-aged woman living a fast-paced life in the United States. MMK features the friendship between Josie, a middle-aged woman in a long overdue sexuality crisis, and her close college friend, Marivic, who has a serious immigration problem. In the busy and boisterous city of New York, the two women struggle to save their respective marriages.
Josie helps Marivic
and accommodates her in her apartment. Marivic becomes Josie's shoulder to cry
on every time she gets into a fight with her husband. Marivic takes Josie into
a journey of sexual awakening. Marivic delivers Josie into genuine
self-freedom. The upcoming episode of Maalala Mo Kaya promises to be a
story of failure, love and emancipation.
