Alden is scheduled to reunite with Maine Mendoza in the March 9 episode of Daddy's Gurl.
In this GMA-7 sitcom, Alden will portray Aldrich Reyes, the childhood crush of Maine's character named Stacy.
Direk Chris wants to take legal action against MyNerve342143 who is using the Twitter handle @merryme342143.
The netizen alluded to Alden as the "gay guest" of the upcoming episode.
@merryme342143 posted on Twitter: "Direk Chris does not want MFans to watch DG this Saturday coz it's first and foremost all about Daddy's Gay epi! Let's show him we don't care for that epi with that gay guest!
"NO TO Daddy's Gay EPI this Sat."
Direk Chris responded by challenging @merryme342143: "Show your face so I can sue for this."
In a recent interview aired on 24 Oras, Alden described his character by saying, “Mayroon kaming childhood past dito ni Stacy, yung character ni Maine.
"We are very close tapos nagkahiwalay nang matagal. Tapos naging business partner ako ni Bossing [Vic Sotto] sa isang coffee shop so parang doon mag-i-istart, doon iikot yung character ni Aldrich Reyes.”
The AlDub tandem of Alden and Maine was previously featured in the 2017 Kapuso primetime series Destined To Be Yours.
They can still be seen regularly in the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga.
