Even though they are from rival networks, ABS-CBN actress Anne Curtis showed support for the GMA-7 show of her sister Jasmine.
The Kapamilya star reminded viewers to watch the Kapuso teleserye of her sestra (sister) Jasmine. It seems the network war has no impact on the two siblings when it comes to Sahaya, which premiered on March 18.
Anne reposted the status of her sister and wrote on her Twitter account: "Be sure to catch my Sestra!"
In her Twitter account, Jasmine talked about her character named Manisan who grows up to be the mother of Bianca Umali's character.
Jasmine posted: "Just wrapped up my last taping day for #Sahaya. Excited for it's premier on Monday evening. This storyline is so promising. Delivering a beautiful culture showcasing family, tradition and challenges of modern day values. Manisan... You are added to my list of favorites."
The cast members of Sahaya, including Jasmine, underwent a Badjao/Badjaw dance workshop.
"It's a wedding ritual na isinasayaw mo bilang the bride and then yung magiging husband or husband mo, pupulutin niya yung mahahabang nails na dinidikit sa kamay ng mga babae," Jasmine was quoted as saying recently in an interview with GMA News.
Jasmine also studied the language of this cultural group.
"May mga terms don na sariling sikap ko na siyang inaaral sa bahay para yung translation niya, second nature na sa utak ko."
