Beauty Gonzalez says she was treated differently when she was a supporting actress in the past.

Before Beauty Gonzalez established a name in showbiz, she recalls that she was treated differently when she was starting out in ABS-CBN.

Early on during her career, the Kadenang Ginto star reveals she treated writers to coffee in order to get more exposure in her past TV show.

"I mean gagawa ako ng paraan kasi there is nothing else I know what to do. I feel like it’s not yet the end for me.”

Beauty is one tough and tenacious actress who doesn’t give up easily.

I am worth where I am right now.”

She recalled playing a lot of supporting roles and she did everything to get more screen time.

When asked if she ever felt she wasn’t gonna make it, she replied, “Yes, because of how I look.

Beauty said she was told back then that she "Bakit kaya? Na-realize ko, may nagsabi sa akin, di ka mabibigyan ng maayos na role because you are a bit big, you don’t look aspirational...ganun ganun. I didn’t take…. Na-hurt ako nung una. Tao lang naman ako.”

She admitted that, “Pero dati, wala, di ako nagpapaapekto. They were already there and I was left behind. Sabi ko noon, paano kaya ito? I had to change myself.”

These days, Beauty feels grateful to be tapped as a leading lady in a movie. She is cast as the wife of Raymond Bagatsing in the horror film Hellcome Home.

She pointed out that her struggles in the past helped make her appreciate what she has now.

"Wala na akong inire-request pa.

“I’m happy kasi if it happened to me before, baka lumaki pa ulo ko. Baka di ko pa naayos yung career ko.”

Beauty got her big break when she became fourth grand placer in Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition.
