Inanunsiyo na ng TV5 at Cignal ang kanilang pinakamalaking broadcast campaign para sa 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) na gaganapin sa bansa mula November 30 hanggang December 11, 2019.

Pinamagatang “Sama-Sama Sa SEA Games,” ang nasabing initiative ng TV5 at Cignal ay naglalayong mapagkaisa ang lahat ng mga Pilipino sa bansa maging sa buong mundo para suportahan ang mga atletang Pinoy na lalaban sa international sports event.

Pagdating naman sa coverage, ipinangako naman ni Jane Basas, President at Chief Executive Officer ng TV5 at Cignal na maipaabot sa target audience na 500 million viewers sa buong mundo ang lahat ng events.

Bukod sa TV5, mapapanood din ang sporting events sa 5 Plus at One Sports.

Sa digital naman, mapapanood ang SEA Games sa ESPN5.com, Cignal Play app, at tatlong SEA Games-dedicated YouTube channels, at Facebook Live, 24/7.

May tatlong bagong channels naman na puro SEA Games event ang mapapanood ng mga Cignal at Satellite subrcribers.

Eksklusibong kuwento pa ni Jane sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) noong Lunes, November 18, “It’s really big, you know between TV5 and Cignal alone, we actually putting together at least 320 people from cameramen to producers, to drivers, to staff. Ganun kalaki, TV5 pa lang yun and Cignal, 320.

“Kasi you can imagine, three locations, 56 sports, 9000 athletes, atleta pa lang yun.

“Kami, I think ang main broadcaster because, actually, I think we are going to cover majority of the events.

“I believe we will cover 11 live games, which doesn’t mean to say that we don’t have people on the covering the other events, pero 11 kami, e.

“Some of the biggest basketball, 5 on 5, three on three, boxing, weightlifting.”

Ito na ang pang-apat beses ng Pilipinas na mag-host ng SEA Games.
