Daniel, who will bring life to Angelo Buenavista, commented: “Kinikilabutan ako. Siyempre, Pangako Sa 'Yo. Tapos habang ginagawa namin yon, tuloy-tuloy lang ang music ng Pangako…'Parang ikaw, 'Oh My God! Ikaw na yon.'”

Sam Concepcion, Jessy Mendiola and JC de Vera will also join the cast.

Another new show is the teleserye Nathaniel, which tackles the theme “pagmamahal sa kapwa.”

Gerald Anderson will act opposite Shaina Magdayao and Isabelle Daza in this upcoming primetime series. The show will also feature new child star Marco Masa and veteran actress Coney Reyes.

The love team of Kapamilya comebacking stars Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal will be showcased in Flordeliza.

TV host-actress Alex Gonzaga takes the lead in the comedy series Inday Bote which is a “komiks” adaptation created by Pablo S. Gomez.

She will be joined in this show by Matteo Guidicelli and Kean Cipriano.

Alex will reprise the role originally portrayed by Maricel Soriano in the 1985 movie that also starred William Martinez and Richard Gomez.

In the original movie version, Maricel brought life to the tomboyish character who buys bottles and newspapers.

In a separate interview with ABS-CBN News, Alex said that she deliberately did not watch the original movie. “Sinabi nila huwag ko na daw muna po panoorin kasi baka magaya ko daw yung acting. Kasi medyo may konting iniba sa kwento.”

How does she feel about being chosen to fill in the shoes of the character originally portrayed by Maricel Soriano?

Ang hirap nun dahil yung original talaga is Miss Maricel Soriano, the Diamond Star.

"Kapag inisip ko yun, baka forever na lang ako ma-pressure."

Alex says she wants to meet the original Inday Vargas, Maricel Soriano:

“Dati pa kasi nanonood ako nung mga sitcoms niya dati sa ABS. Gusto ko talaga siya ma-meet if given a chance.”
