Beatboxer Neil Rey Garcia emerged as the Ultimate Talentado who bagged the P1 million cash prize from Talentadong Pinoy 2014.

The Davaoeño Hall of Famer was named as the winner of TV5's talent search during the grand finals held last December 13 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila.

Popularly known as “Neil,” which stands for “Never Exit in Life,” the young Davaoeño was able to single-handedly beat six other Talentadong Pinoy 2014 grand finalists in a one-night-only showdown of talents and skills.

During the night’s battle, the crowd inside Newport Performing Arts Theater went wild when Neil claimed the stage and showcased his remarkable beatboxing talent in a perfectly executed performance that highlighted his capacity to produce eight distinct sounds and blend them well into an impressive danceable ensemble.

Neil’s awesome performance that night earned not just a standing ovation from the crowd but, most importantly, the vital votes from the panel of distinguished talent scouts, comprised of Ms. Pilita Corrales, Jaya, Jasmine Curtis Smith, Richard Gutierrez, Cherie Gil, Gelli de Belen and Charice.

Talentadong Pinoy 2014 Grand Finals Night became more unforgettable as Jaya, Chadleen, Zendee Rose and Chadleen rendered special performances to the delight of the viewers.

Hosted by Robin Padilla, with Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla and Tuesday Vargas as co-hosts, Talentadong Pinoy 2014 is the original and longest-running talent show of its kind on Philippine television.
