TV5 is launching its new station ID with the campaign "Iba sa 5" tonight, May 20, 2021.
The new TV5 station ID features artists of its current and upcoming TV shows, as well as video clips from TV programs of ABS-CBN that are airing on the Kapatid network.
The stars who taped video clips specifically for the "Iba sa 5" station ID were Billy Crawford and Alex Gonzaga, hosts of the noontime show LOL: Lunch Out Loud.
The cast of the TV5 drama series Niña Niño, led by Maja Salvador, also danced to the new station ID theme song while holding the logo of TV5.
Sing Galing hosts Randy Santiago, K Brosas, Donita Nose, as well as its judges Jessa Zaragoza, Rey Valera, and Ronnie Liang had a clip doing a "5" hand sign, dancing to the tune of "Iba sa 5."
Eat Bulaga! mainstay Maine Mendoza, who will be hosting the reality singing competition POPinoy, also had her own frame where she was holding TV5's logo while doing the "5" hand gesture.
McCoy de Leon and Herbert Bautista, who will also be part of an upcoming TV5 program, held together a big TV5 logo.
Video clips from the blocktimer shows of Xian Lim, John Estrada, Ellen Adarna, Cristine Reyes, and Diego Loyzaga, as well as clips of ABS-CBN's prime-time shows Huwag Kang Mangamba, Init Sa Magdamag, and FPJ's Ang Probinsyano were also shown in the station ID.
ABS-CBN has been in a blocktime arrangement with TV5 for its prime time and Sunday shows since January 2021.
