Darna male lead Joshua Garcia sent his congratulations to Janella Salvador following the news she will portraying Valentina in ABS-CBN's adaptation of Mars Ravelo's famous comics superheroine.
Joshua tweeted: "Congrats Valentina @superjanella #TheValentinaReveal"
Fans, overlooking Joshua's short message, got excited over the prospect of seeing Joshua and Janella together again on screen.
Joshua's tweet has received at least more than 8k likes as of this writing.
Both Star Magic talents, they became known as JoshNella after their pairing in the hit 2019 prime-time series The Killer Bride.
In October 2021, Joshua was revealed to be in the cast of Darna as a "male lead," prompting viewers to speculate he will be the leading man of Jane de Leon, who is portraying the title role.
However, more details about his role have yet to be disclosed.

JANELLA OVERWHELMED
Janella, on the other hand, posted an Instagram story this evening, November 19, thanking her supporters.
She wrote, “Reading all your tweets, messages and posts wrapped in favorite red blanky. I am so overwhelmed. Thank you.”
Jane introduced Janella as the new Valentina on November 19.
Valentina is the archenemy of Darna, who is known to have venomous snakes on her head and is later referred to as the "goddess of snakes."
Her alter-ego, Regina Vanguardia, is a lawyer and vlogger.
It is her first kontrabida role in a teleserye and her first major TV project after giving birth to her baby with Markus Paterson in October 2020.
Darna: The TV Series is directed by Chito Roño and produced by ABS-CBN Entertainment's JRB Creative Production, helmed by business unit head Julie Anne Benitez.
ABS-CBN has yet to announce the airing date of Darna.
