Is Antoinette Taus ready to shoot kissing scenes for her TV comeback on ABS-CBN?

Antoinette Taus is expected to make her TV comeback via ABS-CBN's Bridges of Love.

Antoinette Taus will soon return to television via ABS-CBN's upcoming teleserye Bridges of Love.


Before she left for the United States, Antoinette was part of GMA-7's 2002 teleserye Sana ay Ikaw Na Nga where she was paired with former boyfriend Dingdong Dantes.


This time, the former '90s star will join Jericho Rosales, Paulo Avelino, and Maja Salvador in a Kapamilya drama series.

"I feel like I'm starting all over again, because these are roles I've never done before," said the former child star who gained popularity for shows such as Ang TV, Anna Karenina and Click.

ON SHOOTING KISSING SCENES. Antoinette is grateful that she had the chance to work on a stage musical before completely returning to television work. In Grease, she portrayed an aggressive character and she had to do daring scenes on stage with her partner Rafa Siguion-Reyna.


"I'm really glad that I was able to make this my first experience [in 9 Works Theatrical's Grease the Musical.]

"And I'm woking with a really nice person and a great actor [referring to Rafa] to help me feel more at ease about these things."

Antoinette admitted that she was initially hesitant about kissing onstage for Grease but she eventually found it in herself to do the required scenes.


When asked about her TV comeback, she revealed, "I'm actually working on a soap opera that will call for [kissing scenes] so I'm really nervous."


Is she ready to shoot kissing scenes for television?

"My Gosh. I think it’s really about time that I do it.

"Dumarating na rin yung panahon sa buhay ko na I really have to at my age na rin.

"And, you know, showbiz is different now. Roles are more daring. I know it's something that I really have to do."
