GMA-7’s new Afternoon Prime series, Artikulo 247, aired its pilot episode on Monday, March 7, 2022.
After a year, it is the first time the Kapuso network airs a new drama in its 4:15 p.m. slot after being occupied by reruns of past teleseryes.
The pilot episode of Artikulo 247 centers on the journey of Jane (Rhian Ramos), an aspiring career woman, who accidentally spills coffee on Alfred (Victor Silayan).
While Jane is on her way to her job interview, she almost bumps into the car of Klaire (Kris Bernal), who tries avoiding Jane and ends up crashing into a light post.
Jane later finds out that her boss is Alfred, and that her boss' wife is Klaire.
The future episodes will show the extramarital affairs of Alfred and Klaire that will lead to Klaire killing Alfred after seeing him and Jane sleeping together.
This legal drama directed by Jorron Lee Monroy is also headlined by Mark Herras and Benjamin Alves.

How did the pilot episode of Artikulo 247 fare in the ratings game?
Based on the NUTAM People Ratings data of AGB Nielsen, Artikulo 247 got a TV rating of 6.1%.
A rerun of ABS-CBN’s 2016 drama series Be My Lady, headlined by Erich Gonzales and Daniel Matsunaga, is its rival program on ABS-CBN’s platforms: A2Z on free TV and Kapamilya Channel on cable. It got a combined TV rating of 0.8%.
Meanwhile, its rival program on TV5 is the movie block Cine Cinco, which aired John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo’s 2007 movie One More Chance. It also got a rating of 0.8%.
