Richard Gomez is pleased to know that the Megastar has returned to ABS-CBN.
PEP and other members of the media had the chance to interview the actor when he graced the premiere of the digitally restored version of Maalaala Mo Kaya the Movie held at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City last night, March 16.
Richard and Aiko Melendez were the lead stars of the MMK movie that has been remastered by the Kapamilya Network.
"I'm happy na Sharon [Cuneta] is back with ABS-CBN," said Goma (Richard's nickname).
"Sinabi niya kasi na she's willing to work with us, and of course, we should all welcome Sharon.
ON MAALAALA MO KAYA THE MOVIE. Richard recalled his fondest memories pertaining to the film.
"It's something that's worth watching.
"Siguro na aside from that we are very happy na na-restore yung pelikula namin ni Aiko, siguro maswerte na rin dahil, alam mo, Maalaala Mo Kaya, flagship ng ABS-CBN, flagship ni Ms. Charo Santos 'yan.
"It was an award-winning movie.
ON POLITICS. When asked if he will be running again in the upcoming elections, Richard only said: "Si Lucy kasi ang congresswoman namin, so andun ako para sa kanya.
"I'll be there to support her.
"Technically, may dalawang term pa si Lucy."
