Willie Revillame on TV comeback: "We will see to it that we deserve the trust reposed on us by GMA Network."

Now it can be told.

Willie Revillame is indeed making a TV comeback this 2015.

He was last seen as the host of TV5's Wowowillie that ended in October 2013.

This time, Willie will return as a blocktimer on GMA-7 for his own show titled Wowowin.

In an interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last March , GMA-7 Vice President for Drama Productions Redgie Acuña-Magno already gave a hint that Willie had plans of buying airtime from the Kapuso Network.

According to the airtime agreement by GMA Network and WBR Entertainment Productions, Willie's Wowowin is described as a "variety program" that will air on GMA-7 every Sunday beginning April 26.

"We are pleased to have Willie Revillame's program in the Network. Willie has a very large following. Through our partnership with WBR Entertainment, GMA Network will be a part of the long awaited return of Willie Revillame on television," GMA Network Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon was quoted as saying in a release sent to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal).

For his part, Willie was quoted as saying: "We are very grateful and glad to have our program WOWOWIN shown in GMA Network, the no. 1 TV station in the country. We will see to it that we deserve the trust reposed on us by GMA Network."

Present during the contract signing were GMA Network's Atty. Gozon; President and COO Gilberto Duavit, Jr.; Executive Vice President and CFO Felipe Yalong; WBR Entertainment's Willie Revillame; Atty. Alfonso Reyno Jr.; and Atty. King Reyno.
