The two former ABS-CBN artists signed their contract with Sparkle (formerly GMA Artist Center), the talent management arm of GMA Network, earlier today, November 22, 2022, at GMA Annex Studio 7 in Quezon City.
Also present in the contract signing are Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Annette Gozon-Valdes; Assistant Vice President for Talent Management Joy Marcelo; and Sparkle's Consulting Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing, Lawrence Tan.
During the Stardom contract signing event, Bianca expressed her excitement about this new chapter in her life.
She said in her speech, "Actually, super unexpected, kasi when I first met Ms. Annette and Ms.Joy, sabi ko, 'Naku, magustuhan kaya ako ng mga magiging boss ko?'
"True enough, niyakap din naman nila ako nang mabuti and pinaramdam nila sa akin kung paano sila mag-alaga ng magiging talents nila.
"Kaya very thankful and grateful ako. Thank you po sa trust."
Meanwhile, Jason is nothing but grateful about the opportunity given to him.
The former Pinoy Big Brother housemate said, "Nagulat nga rin ako [na nandito na ako] pero mas nagulat kayo.
"Ako po nagpapasalamat sa mga bossing po natin. Niyakap niyo po ako at tinanggap niyo po ako nang buong-buo.
"Hindi ko po kayo bibiguin.
"Sana po magsama-sama pa po tayo nang matagal po."
The 42 year-old actor also took to Instagram to thank his former home network, ABS-CBN.
He wrote in the caption (published as is), "Sa bagong yugto ng buhay ko salamat @gmanetwork @sparklegmaartistcenter sa aking Manager kuya Darryl at sa handler ko @rappalvarez sa pagaasikaso sa akin.
"Sa mga boss ng @gmanetwork salamat sa tiwala.
"Maraming salamat din sa pinanggalingan kong istasyon @abscbn @starmagicphils kuya @alan_m_real #Mr.M @direklauren kung saan ako nagsimula malaki ang utang na loob ko sa inyo salamat, maraming salamat po."
Bianca's last project with ABS-CBN is the primetime series The Broken Marriage Vow (January-June 2022), while Jason's was part of the gag show Banana Sundae.
Meanwhile, the other Kapuso stars who renewed their contracts with Sparkle during the event include Kylie Padilla, Kyline Alcantara, Ysabel Ortega, Shayne Sava, Sherilyn Reyes-Tan, Thia Thomalla, Sophie Albert, Liezel Lopez, Lianne Valentin, Thea Tolentino, Angel Guardian, David Licauco, Derrick Monasterio, Rodjun Cruz, Juancho Trivino, Edgar Allan Guzman, Luke Conde, Anjo Damiles, Buboy Villar, John Feir, Kim Perez, Hailey Mendes, and Thea Astley.
GMA-7 has yet to announce Bianca and Jason's upcoming projects in the network.
