TJ Trinidad pegs role of cheating husband in The Rich Man's Daughter on real people he knows

TJ Trinidad is happily married and enjoying every moment with his two kids, a baby and a toddler: "You really try to spend as much time as you can with them, engage them. They’re getting bigger and bigger, nagsasalita na, nagtatanong na.”

The Rich Man’s Daughter.

Mabait, pero I’m in love with someone else, e.”

“I was forced into this arranged marriage, which will make me do a bad thing.”

“I suppose, I mean with my personality siguro, yeah.”

ROLE PLAYING.

Ayon kay TJ, “I guess, you know, you experience these things vicariously when you meet people who have had troubled marriages.

“[They] have had to resort to sneaking around because hindi nga nila mahal and all that.

“So, you see that, you see the struggles, parang you kind of base it on that.

“And then, with the help of Direk Dom [Dominic Zapata], and the script, the writers [headed by Suzette Doctolero], which is very important.

“Lahat ng mga ginagawa ko, not just through Direk Dom, but also the writers kasi sila talaga yung may alam, e.”

“But I’ve learned to separate them and leave it on the set and go home.”

Magsisimulang umere ang The Rich Man's Daughter sa April 11.

Bida rito sina Rhian Ramos bilang Jade Tanchingco, Luis Alandy bilang David Limjoco, at Glaiza de Castro bilang Althea Guevarra.

May mahalagang papel din sa naturang GMA drama series sina Katrina Halili bilang Wila Mateo, Mike Tan bilang Paul Tanchingco, Chynna Ortaleza bilang Batchi Luna, Sheena Halili bilang Sally Apolinario, Paolo Contis bilang Anton Maceda, Glydel Mercado bilang Amanda Tanchingco, Stephanie Sol bilang Abby Luna, Al Tantay bilang Oscar Tanchingco, Tony Mabesa bilang John “Angkong” Tanchingco, at si Ms. Gloria Romero bilang Cecilia “Ama” Tanchingco.

FAMILY MAN.

“For me, every moment I have with them is just... I try to, like, maximize it.

“And parang you’ve given time to two, mauubos ka na at the end of the day.

“You really try to spend as much time as you can with them, engage them.

“They’re getting bigger and bigger, nagsasalita na, nagtatanong na.”
