“I’m really thankful dito sa TV5, this is my first role sa television, and I’m happy na they gave me rito ng malaki na role.

Si Joshua ay 18 years old at incoming third-year marketing student sa University of San Carlos.

Nagsimula siya bilang modelo last year, at naniniwala siyang talent ang mas mahalaga sa showbiz kaysa ang pagiging guwapings niya.

“For me kailangan talaga, you really need to know how to act talaga. That’s the most important, it doesn’t matter kung may looks ka or, you know, you look good.

“It really depends sa personality mo and pati sa acting mo.

“I think it can help, you get noticed more kung guwapo ka, pero in the end, when you’re in the situation na kailangan kang mag-act, kailangan talaga na marunong kang mag-arte,” eksplika pa niya.

WORKSHOPS. Kaya naman daw nagpupursige siyang mag-acting workshop dahil gusto niya talagang matuto.

“Nag-workshop ako sa PETA [Philippine Educational Theater Association] before, kasi yung manager ko, he wanted to get me sa theater arts.

"Kasi yung upbringing sa theatre arts is very ano, it helps you become more creative, e.

"Yung ano mo, yung discipline mo ay nandoon, that’s why I got into theater.

“Pero just recently lang po yun.

"“Recently I had a play, ang tawag Yanig. It was composed by yung group namin sa workshop, and it was shown sa Miriam College last May 24."

Aniya, “It’s an amazing feeling. I didn’t know I can get here like from humble beginnings sa Cebu lang.

"I didn’t know I could just, I could come here, get here sa Manila and have this opportunity.

“Kaya, It’s a really a great feeling po talaga,” masayang wika niya.

WATTPAD CO-STARS. Sinabi pa ni Joshua na nag-enjoy siyang katrabaho sina Mark and Chanel.

“Oo yes, yeah. Kasi they're… sobrang mabait sila, they really helped me talaga sa lahat ng mga scenes.

“They were there for me sa mga scenes.

"They said, ‘Okay lang ‘yan, okay lang iyan. You can do it.’

"So very-very supportive talaga sila, and I’m so happy na ganoon sila.”

“Opo yeah, super-super kinabahan,” nakangiting sagot niya.

“Sa first talaga, lumapit pa si Direk GB, 'tapos sabi niya, 'Ay, calm down, it’s okay, it’s okay. You can do this.’

“At first parang natatakot ako, ganoon noong simula. But when nag-taping na kami, he was really nice talaga. He didn’t get mad and he was really patient talaga.
