UAAP athlete Kiefer Ravena made to choose: acting or basketball

Kiefer Ravena tries out acting via the TV5 sitcom No Harm No Foul. The Ateneo Blue Eagles basketball star will join Ogie Alcasid, Randy Santiago, Tuesday Vargas, and Valeen Montenegro in providing comedy to viewers.


Kiefer Ravena takes time out from basketball to try acting onscreen. The UAAP basketball star will be part of TV5's new sitcom No Harm No Foul.

Every Sunday, Kiefer will join comedians and fellow basketball players in bringing providing comedy to viewers.

“This is just a summer experience for me. You know, being young, I want to try a lot of things,â€Â says the Ateneo Blue Eagles team captain about his stint on the new TV5 program.

He further explained, “The basketball part is a different field for me. 'Yong group of guys na 'to and girls, also, magandang experience sa akin.â€Â

No Harm No Foul cast members also include Ogie Alcasid, Randy Santiago, Tuesday Vargas, Valeen Montenegro, Eula Caballero, Sophie Albert, and Yoyong Martirez.

Joining Kiefer are PBA players Gary David, Beau Belga, and Willie Miller.

Although he's enjoying this new experience, the 21-year-old athelete assures that his passion for basketball will not change.

“Definitely, I still know my priorities when it comes to basketball.

“It's just something... Hopefully, mabigyan pa ng maraming opportunities.

“Marami akong natutunan sa kanila, siyempre, kasi ito buhay na nila.

“Memorable experience ito for me.â€Â

In fact, when Kiefer was asked if his acting stint will be a regular thing, he firmly replied, “No, I'll stick with basketball.â€Â
