Susan Roces says Ang Probinsyano continues advocacy of Fernando Poe Jr. to honor Pinoy policemen

Susan Roces is grateful that Fernando Poe Jr.'s movie, Ang Probinsyano, is adapted into a TV series.

Susan Roces gives a thumbs up to the TV remake of Ang Probinsyano, the movie topbilled by her late husband, Fernando Poe Jr.

“Nakakatuwa parang pelikula. I can't get over it,” said Susan after watching the star-studded exclusive premiere of Ang Probinsyano recently.

She added, “Maraming salamat sa ABS[-CBN], maraming salamat sa Dreamscape, talagang binusisi nila para maging karapat dapat sa panlasa ng mga viewers.”

The veteran actress, who plays Coco Martin's grandmother in the TV remake, thanked everyone who paid tribute to her husband through this project.

“Ang aming pamilya, ang bumubuo ng pamilya Poe, ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa ABS, kay Coco, sa pagbibigay parangal nila sa alaala ni FPJ.

“I also want to thank our fellow actors who took their time out to join in tonight's affair.

“Alam ko ma-traffic, umuulan but inspite of that, they made an effort to come. It really means so much to us. This project is to continue on the advocacy of FPJ to honor our policemen.”

Coco Martin, Maja Salvador, Bela Padilla, Arjo Atayde, and Agot Isidro were some of the stars who graced the special screening held at Trinoma.

The daughter of the late FPJ and Susan Roces, Senator Grace Poe, arrived with her son Brian Llamanzares.

Other ABS-CBN stars who watched the pilot week of the upcoming teleserye were Julia Montes, Inigo Pascual, James Reid, Cherry Pie Picache, Lorna Tolentino, Amy Austria-Ventura, Dawn Zulueta, Tonton Gutierrez, and Eddie Garcia.
