Yen Santos shoots love scenes with Albert Martinez; says about leading man, “Hindi malayong magka-crush [ako]!"

According to Yen Santos, she did not feel any tension when she did a love scene with Albert Martinez for their upcoming teleserye All Of Me. She revealed that all of their intimate scenes were shot in one take.

Yen Santos becomes involved in a May-December love affair in ABS-CBN’s upcoming afternoon teleserye All of Me.

The 22-year-old actress shot several love scenes with Albert Martinez, prompting some viewers to tag their tandem as "AlYen."

JM de Guzman, who is staging a major comeback on television, will also be Yen's loveteam partner in this show.

During the advanced screening of All of Me’s pilot week last Monday, August 24, Yen opened up about the intimate scenes that she shot with Albert.

Their love scene caught the attention of viewers and caused them to shriek in delight while watching.

In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press, Yen admitted how happy she is to see the feedback to her love scene with Albert, whom she calls Tito A.

She also said that she did not feel any tension while shooting the scene because she had already overcome her nervousness during their workshop.

Yen said there was no awkwardness between her and Albert when they shot their love scenes.

She even proudly revealed that it took them just one take to complete their intimate scenes.

“Wala po. Noong ti-nake [take] namin yun, sinabi ni Direk [Dondon Santos, director of All of Me] na okay na.

“Wala po na kahit na ano. And one take lang po talaga yun lahat.”

In All of Me, Yen plays the role of Lena, the girl who falls in love with 50-year-old Manuel (Albert), a rich doctor who isolated himself on an island after the death of his first wife.

However, their love story is immediately cut short when a hired killer (Jordan Herrera) tried to kill Manuel on the night of their honeymoon.

Manuel escapes death after stumbling upon a magic portal. He returns seven years after the incident as a younger version of himself, which will be played by JM.

WORKING WITH ALBERT. Yen is pleased to see that in All Of Me, her name comes next to Albert in the billing.

Yen admitted that she initially felt intimidated by Albert.

The Kapamilya actress then praised Albert, who is 32 years her senior.

CRUSH ON ALBERT? On that note, Yen was asked if she has a crush on Albert.

She chuckled, “Sa guwapo ni Tito Albert?

Is it possible for her to fall in love with older men?

Yen gushed, “Sa ngayon? Baka pwede!

When Albert was asked if he is open to the possibility of falling in love with a younger woman, he said, "Anything is possible."

WORKING WITH JM. Yen is also happy to be part of JM’s major TV comeback.

She commended her leading man by saying, “Okay siya, si JM aktor yan talaga, e.

“Sobrang madali siyang katrabaho.

“Magaling, magaling si JM.”

Yen also said that she did not have any qualms about working with JM, who is now in a relationship with Jessy Mendiola in real life.

MORE MATURE ROLES. All of Me can be considered Yen’s first mature role on television.

From the very start, ABS-CBN management already informed her that she would be required to do daring scenes in the afternoon teleserye.

Aside from the intimate scenes, there are also sequences where she was required to wear two-piece outfits.

How did she prepare for it?

She clarified that the ones seen during the pilot episode were the only daring scenes she has shot for the teleserye so far.

Yen is open to shooting more daring scenes in the future.

“Dito po kasi sa All of Me, yun pa lang naman yung daring na ginawa ko.

“Marami pang puwedeng mangyari sa story, e. Puwede pa tayong bumalik sa pagka-conservative.

“Pero pag na-offer-an pa ulit, kung kailangan talaga sa eksena, why not?

“Kailangan po talaga nating paghandaan.”

Since she has already gone daring in this teleserye, is she also willing to pose for a sexy men’s magazine?

HANDPICKED FOR ALL OF ME. Yen is very happy with how her career is going today.

She was first given a major role in the teleserye Pure Love, which topbilled Alex Gonzaga. This was followed by the primetime show Dream Dad, where she played the mother of Jana Agoncillo.

She also played a nun in the recently-concluded daytime drama Oh My G! as Janella Salvador’s long lost sister.

This time, in All of Me, she topbills her own show. She says that ABS-CBN executives told her that they personally chose her to play the lead role.

Does this mean she is being groomed as ABS-CBN’s next leading lady?
