ACTING ON TV.

May joy talaga, e.

Sagot ng batang singer, “Always smile with ten thousand points. Haha!”

“Kasi, like sinabi ko, I just thought she deserved it lang. I thought she was the most consistent, the most natural performer. We have somebody really special now.

“It’s amazing what this show can do. Her [Elha’s] life will change on her own merit, what God has given her.”

“I am, I am. I’ve invested in my kids, ganoon lang yun ka-simple.”

How does it feel that finally may champion na sa Kamp Kawayan (ang team ni Bamboo sa The Voice Kids)?

Sagot ni Bamboo, “I don’t know. Hindi ko pa naiisip yun. Pero I’m just happy for Elha, yun lang naman.

“But well, I’m in Team Elha now. It’s about team Elha now and I’m just very proud of her. Masayang-masaya ako para sa kanya.

“Look at that smile.”

Masayang tiningnan ni Bamboo si Elha.

“And the voice to back her up, the heart to back her up. Amazing lang talaga,” dugtong ni Bamboo.

FAST LEARNER, GOOD HEART. Did he pick the right songs para lumabas yung strength ni Elha bilang singer?

Buong pagkukumbabang sabi ni Bamboo, “At this point, I never like taking credit. Sa amin kasi, it’s about Elha.

“It’s about our team lang. We worked well. Madali siyang turuan, madali siyang kausapin. She just has a good heart, a good kid.

“People around her are good people as well, her mother. That’s a sign of good things to come. “

“Well, the something right was I turned [my chair] for her. I was the only coach who turned for her [during the blind auditions].

“That is quite a story lang, you know. And then, for her to come [out on top], ‘coz people do not expect her [to win].

"No one saw her coming, right? And then, at some point, I knew I had somebody very special talaga, very special. It’s mindblowing what she can do.”

Paano niya nailabas ang napaka-powerful at special na boses ni Elha during the grand finals?

Tugon ni Bamboo, “Well, that’s my secret. That’s my secret sauce.

“But also with the help of a lot of her own personal vocal coaches. They are part of this as well. Ang dali niyang [Elha] turuan. Ang dali niyang kausapin lang.

“Whenever I give her anything, any instruction, immediately, the next time, she hits it. She hits it immediately.

“That’s how sharp she is. And that heart lang, that same heart lang na like Lea [Salonga] said, that made her, sa sarili niyang ano, she sells banana cue on her own merit. She wants to do it on her own. She such a strong girl. I knew it, e.”
