SWEET "BUKO" MOMENT: AlDub vs Vicerylle vs Pastillas Girl-Evan

Can a simple buko be used to gauge the chemistry of a love team?

A coconut shell became an important prop in the stories of three love teams: AlDub, Vicerylle, and Pastillas Girl and her then suitor Evan Vergogna.

AlDub, the love team of Alden Richards and Yaya (played by Maine Mendoza), had the chance to share one coconut shell during the #AlDubmeetsTVJ episode of Eat Bulaga.

Meanwhile, the #MyPastillasLove episode of It's Showtime featured the "buko moments" of Vicerylle (Vice Ganda and Karylle) as well as Vantillas (Angelica Jane Yap aka Pastillas Girl and Evan).



VICERYLLE. Last September, the tandem known as Vicerylle had sweet moments while drinking buko juice straight from the shell.

They were instructed: "Dapat may tinginan. Dapat dahan-dahan."

Vice and Karylle then looked at each other while the girl shook her shoulders as if to seduce her partner.

They slowly lowered their faces near the buko that was decorated with a tiny umbrella.

However, Karylle did not notice the straw and her nose was poked by it.

The actress smiled and the two of them used straws to sip coconut juice while looking at each other occasionally.

Vice winked at his partner and Karylle covered her mouth to hide her smile.





VANTILLAS. While Jireh Lim's "Buko" was playing in the background, Pastillas Girl and Evan Vergogna (known as the Vantillas tandem) had the chance to share one buko last September.

Showing his gentleman side, Evan lifted up the buko so that it will be easier for them to drink from it.

Pastillas Girl and Evan looked into each other's eyes as they sipped from the coconut shell.

Evan is no longer one of the aspirants in the "Nasaan Ka Mr. Pastillas" segment of It's Showtime but he did get to share this moment with Angelica Jane Yap.

On October 10, Evan revealed that he will no longer take part in the segment in order to prioritize his real-life profession.






ALDUB SECOND DATE. On October 3, Alden Richards and Yaya Dub (played by Maine Mendoza) had their second in date at Broadway Centrum.

They met Eat Bulaga's veteran hosts Tito Sen (Tito Sotto), Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon in the episode dubbed as #AlDubMeetsTVJ.

Alden and Yaya Dub had a chance to talk to each other briefly while they were seated at a table.

They took this opportunity to take a selfie and feed each other dried mangoes with chocolate.

At one point, Alden and Yaya sipped buko juice from a young coconut.

Lola Tinidora (Jose Manalo) fooled around by photobombing them while AlDub looked sweetly at each other.

Joey de Leon also took Alden's arm and put it around Yaya Dub's shoulder, which he described as the first hug of AlDub.
