Amy Vachal enters The Voice U.S. Top 9

Filipino-American singer Amy Vachal continues her journey in The Voice USA as she enters the semi-finals round.



Filipino-American jazz singer Amy Vachal enters the semi-final round of The Voice in the United States.

She got saved by votes from the American public, allowing her to earn a spot in the Top 9 of the competition.

Part of Adam Levine’s team, she performed *Nsync’s hit song “Bye Bye Bye”

Amy even earned the approval of *Nsync as the band posted in its Twitter account: "Well done @amyvachal well done!!"

It was announced last Tuesday, December 1 (Wednesday morning in Manila), that Braiden Sunshine and Korin Bukowski got the lowest number of votes.

It was Korin who was sent home after the Sing-Off.

The other contestants joining the Top 9 aside from Sunshine and Amy are Shelby Brown, Zach Seabaugh, Barrett Baber, Madi Davis, Jordan Smith, Emily Ann Robertson and Jeffrey Austin.

In the next round of The Voice U.S., the contestants will be trimmed down from nine to four.

The Voice Season 9’s performances rounds and results show airs every Tuesday and Wednesday, 7:50 PM on AXN.

AXN is seen on Cable Link Channel 38, Cignal Digital TV Channel 61, Global Destiny Cable Channel 61, Dream Channel 20.
