GMA Network partnered with Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), a division of Viacom, Inc, for the localized version of this American musical comedy show.

Lip Sync Battle is a spin-off program based on the recurring segment on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The first season of the show premiered last April 2, 2015 and ended on August 20. Lip Sync Battle started airing its second season on January 7, 2016.

One of the most viral performances on the show is Anne Hathaway's performance of Miley Cyrus' chart-topping hit "Wrecking Ball." The performance, which aired on April 2015, has already garnered more than 18 million views on YouTube.

Magic Mike
actor Channing Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan gave epic performances during the second season last January 7.

Aside from the Philippines, three more Asian countries secured the franchise for the show. Last October, Indonesia started airing Celebrity Lip Sync Battle Indonesia on Net TV.

Meanwhile Sohu.com Inc. acquired the rights for Lip Sync Battle China which will also start airing this February while Dong Tay got the Vietnam rights to air Lip Sync Battle Vietnam starting this July 2016.
