Cogie Domingo makes a television comeback via GMA-7's afternoon teleserye Buena Familia, where his character develops feelings for Kylie Padilla's character Celine.


Cogie Domingo is making a comeback on television as a new character on GMA-7s afternoon show Buena Familia.

He made his first appearance in the TV show last Monday, February 1.

In an interview with GMA News last Friday, January 29, he described his character as a bad boy who will develop feelings for Kylie Padilla, the lead actress of the show.

Cogie further revealed about his character, “Parang may pagnanasa kay Kylie, tapos nagkaroon ng parang rape scene.”

While he was away from show business, Cogie spent time taking of daughter Rianna while helping with their family business.

He told GMA News, “Busy po kami ng dad ko sa subdivision namin up north, nagbebenta po ng mga bahay tapos I have a daughter now si Rianna po that keeps me busy.”

Cogie last appeared in TV5 shows Valiente and P.S. I Love You.

He became known for his roles in the TV series Kung Mawawala Ka and the 2000 movie Deathrow.

Buena Familia was originally set to end in January but it has been extended until March 2016.

The show also stars Angelu De Leon, Bobby Andrews, Julie Anne San Jose, Sheryl Cruz, That’s My Bae winner Kenneth Medrano, and Martin Del Rosario.
