EAT BULAGA. Divina (Maine Mendoza) and the Tres Lolas visited the Broadway studio in high anticipation of Anselmo’s appearance.
Lola Tinidora (Jose Manalo) and Lola Tidora (Paolo Ballesteros) tried their best to help Lola Nidora (Wally Bayola) who was uncomfortable seeing her former lover.
Lola Nidora is nostalgic and a nervous wreck at the same time as she recalled how fate stepped into her and Anselmo’s lives. She couldn’t believe that after all these years, she and Anselmo would cross paths. Their love team was even dubbed online as #AnseRa.
From out of the blue, Anselmo rings up Divina’s phone.
Viewers, together with the three Lolas, eagerly waited for Anselmo. The screen flashes a car arriving with a man getting off. Everyone laughed when it turned out to be Jimmy Santos.
The real Anselmo (played by Eddie Gutierrez) walks towards to the studio with the audience shrieking with delight. The old flames--Lola Nidora and Anselmo--finally meet again. Lola Nidora does the “pabebe” wave upon meeting him.
He told Lola Nidora that he left for the United States and tried to search for her but couldn’t locate her. He met and married a woman but his wife has passed away.
“Miss na miss na kita,” said Anselmo.
To show how much he still cares for Lola Nidora, Anselmo sings “Love Me Tender.”
The sisters, Lola Tidora and Lola Tinidora, teased the couple to do the boogie dance, to which they obliged. Divina and Alden joined in the dancing.
After the dance, Anselmo expressed that the two of them fell too soon. “Naging mapusok kami...Ang tunay na pag-ibig marunong maghintay… kung anuman mangyari sa inyo, lumipas pa ang mga taon. Magtatagpo pa rin kayo…sa tamang panahon.”
He will return to the U.S. but says a new chapter will begin Lola Nidora’s diary. Before leaving, he gives Lola Nidora a tender kiss on the cheek.
Anselmo tells Divina to take good care of his beloved Nidora. He asks Alden directly: “Mahal mo na ba siya?”
At that point, the horn sounded, marking the end of the Kalyeserye segment.
