Austro-Filipino Lukas Janisch wins The Voice Kids Germany

The 13-year-old half-Filipino contestant Lukas Janisch won the grand finals of The Voice Kids Germany, held in Berlin earlier today, March 25 (Euro time). 


Austrian-Filipino Lukas Janisch won the grand finals of The Voice Kids Germany, which was held in Berlin earlier today, March 25 (European time).

This was announced in SAT 1's The Voice Kids Germany's website, which published a video clip entitled “Lukas Janisch is the Voice Kids 2016.”

Lukas was all smiles as he took a photo with his proud coach coach Mark Forster.

Another video clip featured his winning rendition of Adele's “When We Were Young.”

Lukas also performed Alicia Keys's "If I Ain't Got You" in the finale.

The 13-year-old Austro-Filipino bested his fellow contenders Ridon Jakupi, Matteo Bok, Lara Blob, Shanice, and Noel.

Last March 10, Lukas's wowed The Voice Kids Germany's coaches and audience alike with his performance of Alicia Keys's “Fallin.”

The Voice Kids Germany's coaches are Lena Meyer-Landrut, Mark Forster, and Sascha Schmitz.
