ABS-CBN aired the pilot episode of its new morning talk show titled Magandang Buhay on Monday, April 18, as the replacement for Kris Aquino's magazine-talk show Kris TV.
This new Kapamilya program is hosted by Jolina Magdangal, Karla Estrada, and Melai Cantiveros.
Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, dubbed as the Kapamilya Network's King and Queen of Hearts, were the show's first guest celebrities.
The Pangako Sa 'Yo stars talked about their first crush, first love, and first heartbreak for the pilot episode of the talk show.
Daniel admitted that Jolina is one of his childhood crushes. His mom, Karla, explained and said Daniel was fascinated by Jolina's fashion during the early days of her career.
Meanwhile, Kathryn revealed that her first crush was a schoolmate.
Kilig vibes filled the air when KathNiel talked about the qualities they consider before they get a crush on someone. Daniel went first and said he likes a simple, intelligent girl who can catch up with his personality.
The Kapamilya actor said, "Ako siguro yung simple, ‘tsaka matalino, ‘tsaka yung may sense kausap at yung makaka-enjoy kong kausapin. Kasi medyo may pagka-abnormal ako, e, so kailangan niya ma-take yun. E na-take naman ni Kathryn yun so…"
For her part, Kathryn said she admires a guy who is a gentleman and knows how to cope with her mood swings. The 20-year-old actress said, "Unang-una gusto ko po yung gentleman, as in sobrang plus points.
The show continued to discuss how parents should handle different situations when their child experiences their first crush, first love, and their first heartbreak.
