Ritz Azul willing to show skin for new Kapamilya teleserye: "Depende sa kailangan."

Ritz Azul will topbill her first Kapamilya teleserye titled The Promise of Forever. In the series, she will have Paulo Avelino and Ejay Falcon as her leading men.

Ritz Azul will star in her first teleserye as a Kapamilya in the new TV series The Promise of Forever.

Produced by ABS-CBN drama unit Dreamscape Television, Ritz will figure in a love triangle with Kapamilya actors Ejay Falcon and Paulo Avelino.

Ritz told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other reporters during the media announcement of the new TV series yesterday, May 2, that she is very thankful for this new endeavor.

She admitted that she feels the pressure headlining her first Kapamilya primetime series but she looks forward to working with Ejay and Paulo as her leading men.

“And working with them [Paulo and Ejay], mababait naman sila, wala naman akong masasabi.

“Tingin ko mas magiging magaan yung trabaho namin.”

The 21-year old actress also said that she has not undergone any workshop yet with the network, but she treats her stint in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano as her first acting test on ABS-CBN.

However, she clarified that she might be taking more acting workshops before they start taping for the series.

Aside from Paulo and Ejay, other cast members of the new teleserye are Benjie Paras, Nico Antonio, Angel Aquino, Cherry Pie Picache, and Amy Austria.

ON BARING SKIN. In The Promise of Forever, Ritz's character Sophia works on a cruise ship.

She said about her character, “Ako po si Sophia dito, isang masayahing babae.

Ritz was asked if the series has a provocative theme that might require her to bare some skin.

It can be remembered that when she was still in TV5,she appeared in shows with sexy themes such as Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak and Misibis Bay.

However, she said being sexy is not the packaging that the Kapamilya network is planning for her as an actress, compared to her previous network.

“Nagbago.

However, she did not dismiss the possibility of going sexy for the project.

The Promise of Forever is under the creative team of Reggie Amigo and Mariami Tanangco-Domingo, the same people who wrote On The Wings of Love. Joining the team is Clarissa Estuar, who wrote the 2014 series Hawak Kamay starring Piolo Pascual.
