THROWBACK: Valerie Concepcion, JC de Vera, Iya Villania, and Drew Arellano during Click days

Iya Villania-Arellano posted a throwback picture on her Instagram account during her Click days with Valerie Concepcion, JC de Vera and her husband Drew Arellano. The four topbilled the last batch of GMA-7's youth-oriented show.

Iya Villania took a trip down memory lane along with her Instagram followers when she posted a photo on her Instagram account during her Click days.

In the photo, she is with a teenage Valerie Concepcion, JC de Vera and her husband Drew Arellano who was also part of the cast.

Iya also used the hashtag #SydneyGilbert, as she portrayed the role of Sydney while Drew played Gilbert.

On the other hand, Valerie’s character was Yasmin while JC’s name in the series was Benj.

Iya started her career in GMA’s youth-oriented show Click, which aired from 2001-2004 and focused on teenagers studying in a school called C.L.I.C, which makes up the title.

The now-defunct Saturday teen show jumpstarted the careers of Angel Locsin, Richard Gutierrez, and Jake Cuenca among others.

Chynna Ortaleza, Angelika dela Cruz and Alessandra de Rossi, who started their careers in other platforms, were also included in the original cast of the show and made them household names.

Click was also popular by producing some of the most sought-after love teams at that time, including the tandem of Roxanne Barcelo & James Blanco, Richard & Chynna, and Angel & Railey Valeroso.

It was during the second batch when Iya entered the cast along with Valerie and Jake.

On its fourth year, Drew joined the show and was paired with Iya. During that time, their relationship blossomed until they got married.

Starstruck Season One final four Jennylyn Mercado, Mark Herras, Yasmien Kurdi, and Rainier Castillo also joined the cast during that time.

Unfortunately, the show came to an end in 2004 when Valerie got pregnant.

Iya, who was then supposed to be part of its replacement show Joyride along with JC and the Starstruck final four (which eventually became a daily afternoon series), then decided to transfer to ABS-CBN.

Currently, Iya is back on GMA-7 and she just finished the primetime series Because of You.
