Sa isang panayam kay Trinidad noong nakaraang June 20, sa Romulo Cafe sa Quezon City, aniya, "I personally think this is very timely.
"With Filipinos wanting change, maybe, a clear and more factual education of our history and culture can address and redefine how we should, as a nation, move forward.
"We are at a crossroads in our history when we must seek to know and understand the past in order for us to move faster, higher, and more effectively into the future.
"We need to tell our children the greatness and the nobility of being Filipino.
"We simply tell the truth as it deserves to be told, in the eyes of historians, experts and storytellers who researched, studied or saw recent history unfold."
PROGRAM LINEUP.
Ani Trinidad, "As a treat for cable operators, from June 12 until the end of the month, Pilipinas HD will be free for subscription.
"After that, I hope that cable operators in the country will carry the channel so that it can somehow help how our nation, specially the youth, in learning more about our history.
"Please understand that this is not a purely business endeavor.
"Our higher goal is to build a nation of patriots who will work together for a better Philippines.
"We need to make future generations of Filipinos proud of our heritage.
"A country and people who know their past is better equipped to move forward.
"Pilipinas HD will be the medium where stories of unsung heroes will be retold and highlighted.
"Pilipinas HD levels up Filipino viewing,” diin pa ni Chino.

KNOWING WHO WE ARE.
I have not gotten tired of doing sports. It is what defined me as who I am.
"But there comes a time in the life of anyone, you seek to do something outside of your comfort zone.
"I could’ve done sports and just lived my life the way I’m doing it.
"Enjoying it, doing my reports twice a week for GMA. But see, that is not a life well spent."
"I’m down on debt from well-meaning friends who would lend me money and not charge me any interest.
"I’ve had so many friends who chipped in.
"This was not done on any single burst, it was piecemeal.
"When I had extra money on me, I would go out, shoot, do the documentary. It was like being an independent film producer.
"I can feel the support of people and how they gravitated towards the content. It is a search for who we are as a Filipino.
"I want to take each and every Filipino on a nice journey, a journey that will not end until we see who we are as a people."
