How did GMA-7's TV remake of Sinungaling Mong Puso fare in AGB and Kantar ratings?

Sinungaling Mong Puso, starring Rhian Ramos and Rafael Rosell, aired its pilot episode on July 18, 2016.

Aside from Encantadia, GMA-7 also welcomed a new show on its afternoon block titled Sinungaling Mong Puso starring Rhian Ramos, Rafael Rosell, and Kiko Estrada.

This new Kapuso show replaced Hanggang Makita Kang Muli starring Bea Binene and Derrick Monasterio.

It is a remake of the 1992 film of the same title directed by Maryo J. Delos Reyes and produced by Regal Films.

Rhian reprises the role of Clara, originally played by the Star of All Seasons Vilma Santos in the movie. Other cast members of the 1992 film include Gabby Concepcion, Aga Muhlach, Alice Dixson, and Aiko Melendez.

The pilot episode of the Kapuso series showed how Clara met Roman (Rafael Rosell) after calling off her wedding with her cheating fiance Eric (Paolo Contis).

The Kapuso network strengthens its afternoon block as it introduced this new show.

Sinungaling Mong Puso
was able to beat rival ABS-CBN program Doble Kara in Urban Luzon based on data gathered by AGB Nielsen. Rhian's new show garnered a TV raeting of 13.4%, slightly higher than the Julia Montes-starrer which scored 13.1%.

KANTAR TNS. Sinungaling Mong Puso, however, failed to take the lead from Doble Kara in nationwide ratings based on data gathered by Kantar Media-TNS.

Doble Kara scored 17.6%, which is seven points higher than Sinungaling Mong Puso's national rating of 10.2%.
